NOF Travelling grant

To support education and scientific activities of residents and young orthopaedic surgeons we offer candidate(s) economical support to attend the NOF Congress.

The grant includes travel (economy) and hotel costs (economy) and may not exceed €1.000 per person. Acceptance for this NOF Travelling grant also includes the waiver of the congress and premeeting fee. No more than three participants of each NOF member society will be accepted for this grant.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Member of a NOF member country association or society
• Resident or orthopaedic surgeon
• Not older than 40 years of age
• Active participation in the resident organization or in the member society of that particular country

Application

Application by e-mail to NOF Secretary General with attached:

• A short resume
• An estimate of travel and hotel expenses
• A motivation
• A proof of membership of the member society

Procedure

Applications are appraised by the Young NOF who advise the NOF Excom. The NOF Excom decides which NOF Travelling grants are awarded.
