Young NOF
Young NOF is part of NOF with a focus on developing a strong bond between residents of the NOF countries with courses, during the NOF congress and social events. This in hope that we can learn from each other and stand stronger together in the future.
Aim and goal
The aim and goal is to establish an international collaboration for resident orthopaedic surgeons of the Nordic Orthopaedic Federation (NOF) countries, focusing on education, fellowships, research and network expansion among residents of NOF countries.
Mission
Our mission is to create a platform for sharing information on education, conferences, fellowships and research and facilitate resident involvement in organizing NOF congresses, courses and social activities.
Vision
Our vision is to create a dynamic and supportive community within the Young NOF, where residents can access international opportunities for professional growth and collaboration, ultimately enhancing the field of orthopaedic surgery.

Activities
Our mission includes collaboration with NOF regarding the biannual congress, and Young NOF strive to plan a pre-course day ahead of the congress for residents to facilitate networking, focus on education and with inspiring workshops and/or lectures. This was first achieved in 2024 in the Netherlands with an impressive pre-course day.
Soon you will be able to find information on the program for 2026 pre-course day in Denmark along with registration link and general information. It is also here we in the future hope to advertise for fellowships and courses in our member countries.
